- She loves her puppies and will protect them if she thinks they are going to be harmed.
- Never make loud noises around dogs.
- This may startle or scare them.
- Never bother a dog when he or she is eating.
- They may try to protect their food by biting.
- Never put your hand between two dogs.
- Dogs play with other dogs by nipping. If they are fighting they will probably bite. DO NOT put your hand where it will get bit.
- Always approach dogs slowly and carefully from the side.
- Dogs don’t like sudden movements.
- Never approach a dog from the rear.
- This may scare them or they may feel threatened and may bite out of instinct.
